This new website I'm going to feature defies planking and why it became famous. How do I call this one... leisure diving? Imagine diving into water and looking like you're just relaxing.

Let's welcome Leisure Dive - a website that has collections pictures of people jumping into pools, posing like  they're lying on the couch. Impossible? I think not!

Lethal Paradise

Have you ever wondered what death row inmates requested to eat before they were executed?

Jonathan Kambouris, a photographer based in Brooklyn, has been working on the website, The Last Meals Project, for five years. The website shows pictures of the inmates, food they ate before execution and the information/details of the execution.

What I like about this website is that it triggered my curiosity and how amusing their food requests were. From hash browns to ice cream sandwiches, it was definitely paradise for them before getting executed.

YouTube Sensation

If you're an avid YouTuber (like me) and would go for shorts, music videos, films, etc. without the whole Hollywood hoopla going on, these guys don't need an introduction. They made a name for themselves (a household name at that) in the video broadcasting website and have more than a million fans as of this writing. They've escalated from simple college videos to music videos of some of the most talented people on YouTube and have collaborated with celebrities from different parts of the world. They've also collaborated with other YouTube sensations like NigaHiga, KevJumba and Chester See among others.

Who are these guys? They're Wong Fu Production!

Wong Fu Pro, as I'd like to call them, consists of three talented individuals named Ted, Wes and Phil. The trio met in 2003 at their visual arts class and from then on, they collaborated and have produced, directed and wrote scripts for hundreds of their great videos that have millions of views on YouTube. Because of Wong Fu's popularity, they then released their very own online store, selling t-shirts, accessories, DVDs of their film feature and their Awkward Animal plush toys.

You might be wondering why I'm posting about YouTube stars when my site should be about websites that have something to say. Well, if you visit Wong Fu Production's website today, you'll see that the design is simple but easy to navigate. Plus, it comprises of videos that are worth watching.

Write the Perfect Article

Nobody has ever written the perfect article without any mistakes omitted. That's why a rough draft exists in the writing world. But then again, if you're a perfectionist and working as an article writer, you might need an online assistant to tell you where you've done wrong in your content.

Make way for Grammarly an instant grammar checker and is acclaimed as the "World's most accurate grammar checker." You might be a little skeptical with the website's slogan but, truth be told, it has helped a lot of people when it comes to my writing. It carefully checks for plagiarism, spelling, punctuation, your style and word choice. If it spots an error in your article, it will display how many there are.

Interested? Here's how to use Grammarly:

1. Go to Grammarly.

2. Paste your article in the box.

3. Hover your mouse to the 'Start Review' button to indicate whether your article is about Business, Academic, Technical, Creative or Casual. Choose from any of the selection by clicking the circle.
You may opt to turn the Plagiarism detector off.

4. Press the 'Start Review' button and wait for the process to finish.

Grammarly's initial review comes for free but if you want an in-depth review of your article, you can sign up on their website and pay for their services. I don't know the huge difference between the free and paid version but the former seems to be doing a pretty great job!

Horror Films Collection

I'm a huge fan of horror films even though I'm a scaredy cat by blood. People close to me would scold me because I'd rent horror flicks yet hide under the covers or behind my pillow.

Since there are about thousands of horror films starting from 1894, one can't simply know all of them, thus the existence of movie search sites like IMDB. But then again, it has too many film genres that you get distracted while looking for horror movies.

Good thing my friend, Elgart, made a blog that's solely for horror movie junkies called Bugaboo Flick. He doesn't review them nor spend a huge amount of time trying to figure out how he can engage his visitors to read his posts. What he does is post the movie posters and jot down the summary or synopsis along with the cast and members of the certain film in that genre. And voila! You've got yourself an easy access just when you're having a hard time in figuring out which scary movie you should watch.

Your Daily Dose of Fun

There are times that you just want to break away from the stress that's happening to you in a day. Others convert that relief into food while others just want to browse the web for anything that's entertaining. I'm one of those people who turn to the internet and regard it as my confidante. And that website is 9Gag - a domain that made its theme their very own signature and a favorite blog site design by many.

I don't know if you've heard of 9Gag since it's heavily popular now in the online world and is one to blame for the internet meme sensation. 9Gag feeds visitors, daily, of random posts that's wildly entertaining. You'll hear phrases like "Bitch, please!" or the word "trolling". OR you might be familiar with the Ridiculously Photogenic Guy who looks insanely handsome even though he's running a marathon. You can even post a picture of your cat that's doing funny and cute stuff. Have something informative to share? Put it up on 9Gag!

Truth be told, words cannot describe how fun it is on 9Gag. However, if you visit it on a daily basis, you might get bored since the feeds on the website depend on when users upload pictures and videos. So, you might want to do that every other day. Or better yet, if you think you've got a better post than the guy who did it first, upload a photo reply with your own take of the picture or meme.

Logo Making Tutorials

As a web designer under a company in our local hometown, one of my usual problems is how to design a logo that will represent what the website or business really is about. You might be asking why I have that type of problem since I'm a designer? Well, I have two jobs in the same company, so, designing would be something I'd do if ever my boss asks me to do something for a client; meaning, not too often. My main job is optimizing.

That aside, I'll go running for Google's help and search for websites that can help me with the said problem. Until recently, someone followed me on Twitter and somehow became the answer to my prayers.

Let me introduce to you, Logo Wish - a blog that has a proud collection of tutorials, freebies, tips and logo inspiration gallery. If you're a logo designer, you can submit your creations to the website and might be able to make it to their awards.

What I love about Logo Wish is that it's easy to navigate and it doesn't have a lot of website tangles - very easy on the eyes.And, of course, the freebie is one of the things that I love about this website.Not only does Logo Wish discuss about logos but it also tackles on random stuff that you should know about and get website inspiration from.

This is one of the websites that I'd like to recommend to my friends who are aspiring logo designers because the tips and tutorials cover on topics that are very much essential for your designing needs.
